Two hands pressed together with fingers pointing upward. The official Unicode name is "Person with Folded Hands" and the design is intentionally ambiguous โ it's used for prayer, gratitude, please/thank you, and even high-fives depending on who you ask. In Japanese culture, this gesture (ๅๆ, gasshล) primarily means "please" or "thank you" rather than prayer. Apple's version removed the light rays behind the hands in iOS 8.3, settling the debate somewhat toward the prayer interpretation.
Use to express gratitude, ask for something politely, show hope, or indicate prayer.
Thank you I'm literally going to cry
Grateful from the bottom of my heart
Manifesting hard right now
Please I'm begging you (dramatic)
