Be specific or vague โ both work. Searching "cat" returns all cat emoji. Searching "happy" returns all smiling faces. Searching "food" gives you the entire food category.
Try synonyms. If "angry" does not give you what you want, try "mad" or "rage". Emoji have multiple keywords attached to them, so different words can surface different results.
Search by color. Try "red", "blue", or "green" to find emoji of a specific color. Useful when you need to match a theme.
The search index covers all 1,800+ emoji in the Unicode Standard, including skin tone variants and compound (ZWJ) emoji.

Your phone's built-in emoji keyboard organizes emoji by category, which works fine when you know what you are looking for. But when you want to express a feeling or find something specific โ like an emoji for "disappointed" or "celebration" โ scrolling through hundreds of tiny icons is slow and frustrating.
This search tool lets you describe what you need in words. Type "disappointed" and you will see ๐, ๐, ๐, and other matching faces immediately. Type "party" and get ๐, ๐ฅณ, ๐, ๐ช without scrolling through every object category.
The search index includes official Unicode names, common keywords, and alternative descriptions. So even if you do not know the exact emoji name, a rough description usually works. Looking for that "face with the monocle"? Just search "monocle" and there it is: ๐ง.
Every result is clickable โ tap or click to copy the emoji to your clipboard instantly. No need to switch keyboards or install anything. It works on any device with a web browser: phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops.
